NLM: The standard method to remove noise from renders.

OpenImageDenoise: Here, we have a powerful denier filter that

uses machine learning to removes noise from an image.

OptiX: If you have an RTX graphics-card from NVIDIA, you can

use the artificial intelligence-powered OptiX denier. It is also an

impressive denier filter that can dramatically speed up renders.

You must select OptiX from the Cycles settings to use this method.

That will give you room to use fewer samples and still get a clean image.

Even with the Denoiser options, you will have to perform a few tests to

find the optimal sample value for your project.

In our case, a sample count with a maximum of 500 with the Denoiser

enabled gives good results. After changing the max samples, adjust the

camera and start your render. Since we are using Cycles, our render will

probably take a few minutes to process.

The total render time for this particular render was 11 seconds, using the

GPU to speed up the process.

You can select the GPU for rendering in the Render tab (Figure 6.38).
